Ninth graders examine the social problem of teenage mothers. In groups, they examine the consequences of a teenage pregnancy and how it can be considered a breakdown in family structure. They discuss the physical changes during adolescence and define new vocabulary. To end the activity, they read an article and make up their own questions to fiction stories and answer them from another point of view.
