Tessellations

In this tessellations worksheet, 10th graders complete 6 different problems that include constructing various tessellations. First, they show how to tessellate a plane with a square and then, a rectangle to tessellate the same plane. Students also use a rhombus and a parallelogram to tessellate the plane. Finally, they place 2 copies of a trapezoid together to form a parallelogram to show how the trapezoid tessellates the plane.
