In this literary analysis learning exercise, students consider the comments made about religion in William Blake's poem, "The Lamb." Kids read an overview of the poem's symbolic content, then respond to five questions in which they reflect on the significance of Biblical elements in the poem and the poem's implications about religion. Students are prompted to use a thesis statement for "The Lamb" in discussion or debate as a final activity.
