Due to surface tension, dew — a liquid, is spherical in shape. Learners explore the properties of liquids in activity seven in this series of 36. - Language used throughout the activity contains some British words (i.e. learnt) which may appear/sound strange to some pupils
- Activity fits upper-level middle school and high school classes
- Portion 7.3 calls for pupils to use liquid mercury; due to safety concerns, another liquid should be used in its place, or teachers should complete the activity as a demonstration
