There's only one way out of this maze, and youngsters will need to use their shape recognition skills to do it! They follow a three-shape pattern all the way from start to finish to keep on track. Encourage them to say the shapes as they go ("square, circle, triangle") to reinforce these names. Watch out for stars, moons and arrows! This would be a fun one to try outdoors. Using cut-out shapes or even sidewalk chalk, create a path for scholars to follow using a shapes pattern. Better yet, have them make one!
