In this literature analysis lesson, 10th graders discuss the life and career of Guy de Maupassant and take notes. Students listen to "The Necklace" on CD and predict the rest of the story. Students complete a study guide for the story and read "Cinderella." Students compare both stories using a Venn diagram.
