Edward Winslow was a community leader in the 13 Colonies when the American Revolution broke out. He helped lead the troops loyal to the king of England. Winslow and his compatriots eventually accepted defeat and decided to relocate to Nova Scotia. Copies of Winslow's letters are posted on the site and can be downloaded or printed as needed. A wonderful opportunity for students to interpret original source documents to get an understanding of the impact on real people. Intended mostly for secondary school students, the letters can be used at the grade 7 8 level with teacher guidance.
