There's Only How Much? Rationing in World War II

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Students discuss the idea of rationing as a restriction on the amount of something or the frequency with which something may be purchased or used in order to contribute to the greater good of the group which was what happened during World War II. Each student gets a set of colored cards with each one representing a specific length of time they may participate in an activity for one week. They think about how they would like to use their cards wisely.
