First graders identify the characteristics of a fairy tale and share a fairy tale they are familiar with. They are read a story that is similiar to the "Three Little Pigs" noting the differences between the original and this story. They share what they remember from the story and put pictures into the correct sequence. They complete a Venn Diagram showing the similiarities and differences of both stories.
