This amazing resouce is actually a set of three courses in teaching American history of the Northwestern U. S. from the 1700s to the year 2000. Each course is fifteen weeks long. But the course is laid out so that you can browse any sections of the content. The site is easy to navigate and provides a wealth of lessons and material for direct use in the secondary classroom. The content includes videos, interviews, historical maps, annotated book lists, primary documents and photos, and recommended films.
