Eighth graders participate in interactive video teleconference with employees of NASA Johnson Space Center. Students visit inside of space station module, take video tour of Russian-built Service Module by Astronaut Bill Shepherd, visit training facility where astronauts train for their missions, discuss astronaut food and eating in space, and interactively ask questions during teleconference to evaluate career opportunities associated with NASA.
