The libraries of the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, have published reproductions of a variety of early printings of "The Canterbury Tales." See selected pages from an early fifteenth-century illustrated edition, from a rare Caxton-printed edition, and from similar historically and artistically significant editions of Chaucer's works, both old and new. Reproductions appear along with helpful notes that discuss aspects of the books' manufacture (e.g., the years they were produced, type of paper used).
