Vocabulary Building Activity - Short a Words

In this vocabulary building instructional activity, 1st graders write a list of 5 long a words as the teacher dictates them. They unscramble the words and complete an "Eagle Eye" activity. They examine a vocabulary word and a list of words that follows it. They find and correct the words that are spelled incorrectly in each row.
