White Pine Pictures: For the Love of God: The Mennonites and Benjamin Eby

Benjamin Eby was a Mennonite who brought his family to Canada from the U.S. in 1807. He carried with him 10,000 silver dollars sewn into 10,000 pockets in a quilt. The money was used to buy land which became the community of St. Jacob's in southern Ontario.
