The Nat Turner Project is a digital archive of primary source materials related to the Nat Turner Slave Rebellion, beginning with the experiences and living conditions of slaves prior to the revolt. The archive houses newspaper articles, diaries, letters, photographs, maps, court documents, etc. There are also descriptions of the events after the fact from the perspectives of slaves and slave owners. The memory section has narrative and visual depictions of the rebellion up to the present day, including literature, articles, and film.
