Better known as Chesterwood, this was the summer home and studio of sculptor Daniel Chester French (1850-1931) from 1891 until his death. The estate was designed by French's collaborator Henry Bacon, and is now owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. It is open to the public on a seasonal basis.
