Have your beginning Spanish language learners practice conjugating with verbs that are irregular in the preterite form. Three exercises are provided here. The first requires language learners to rewrite a series of sentences in the preterite tense. The second requires them to conjugate and add the correct preterite form of the word provided. In the final activity, they will translate three sentences in the preterite form.
