Writing Exercises; Belief Systems

This cross-curricular assignment could easily accompany a religious studies or imperialism unit. Prior research is required, as historians compare and contrast major religions and describe religious expansion with regard to contributors and cultural diffusion. Writing skills are involved, but it may be more visually engaging as an illustrated research assignment, where answers are cut out and glued onto another sheet of paper. There, pupils can then illustrate the concept.
