Inspired by Debra Frasier's clever vocabulary fair from her book, Miss Alaineus: A Vocabulary Disaster, individual students will imagine what a vocabulary fashion show would be like. Assuming the role of a fashion show announcer, students will write a script that describes a personified vocabulary word's stroll up and down the runway at a creative fashion show. Students will then team up with students who've scripted different vocabulary words, combine scripts, add transition words in between the "models," and perform their vocabulary fashion shows for the class.
