Lesson Planet
Middle schoolers create their own sculpture representing the idea of environmental responsibility and recycling. In this science lesson, students observe Les Constellations des Voisines du Pole by Joseph Cornell, make recycled paper, and use this recycled paper and other materials to create their own sculpture within cardboard boxes. Additionally, the material used in the boxes needs to show what each student feels is the importance of recycling.
