In this particular lesson, the students will create an unknown life form and planet. The creation of the life forms will begin at the chemical level and be explained throughout the levels of organization to the level of organism. The life form has to represent the basic characteristics of life such as reproduction, growth and development, response to stimuli, etc.This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science, GEMS Project funded by the Malone Family Foundation.
