This site from the University of Groningen provides a synopsis chronologically written on the ratification of the U.S. Constitution beginning with the first states who accepted the document to pressures exerted by the Federalists to obtain the necessary votes in Virginia and New York. Link directly to George Washington and to Vice-President John Adams, elected at the end of the Constitutional Convention. Included is an explanation of the addition of the Bill of Rights demanded by Massachusetts before ratification which also paved the way for other questioning states.
