This multimedia activity challenges media-savvy learners to look at the critical issue concerning the inundation of technology and multitasking in the classroom, and its effects on the education of themselves and others. The tasks include the video links, vocabulary, preview activities, focus questions, follow-up activities, post-viewing activities, and (ironically) an online quiz. As a contact assignment, students are encouraged to keep a log of how much time they are “wired.”
