In this fall leaves instructional activity, students identify the colors of leaves and determine the number they have of each. This instructional activity may be used in elementary grades, for color identification and counting purposes. For the middle school students, this instructional activity may be used for the students to organize their data and then create statistical information such as mean, mode, range, and median. They also may create graphs of the information.
