This Invertible or Not? assessment also includes:
Two for one—create an invertible and non-invertible function from the same data. The task presents a function table with missing outputs for the class to use to create two functions. One of the functions should have an inverse while the other function should not. Class members go on to develop real-life situations that could be represented by the functions and interpret values within the context.

Classroom Considerations
- The class should know what makes a function invertible
- Pupils need to be comfortable with creating a scenario that fits a set of data
Pros
- Provides a general description and an example of the correct solutions
- The task requires higher order thinking than simply picking an invertible function
