Middle schoolers will compare the data for different locations that they select and investigate trends over the course of a number of years. This will give the students an opportunity to apply statistical measures (mean, median,mode) to data from the real world. By using data from different years, middle schoolers can also detect trends and determine if Air Quality in that location is improving or getting worse.
