Instructional Ideas
  • Allow learners to use a graphical approach to finding midpoint and distance in addition to using formulas
  • Post lesson as a resource for absent pupils or during review time
Classroom Considerations
  • Does not include examples for practice problems #9-12 and #21-22; supplement examples if appropriate for your classroom
  • The 15th installment of a 16-part geometry series
Pros
  • Builds formulas from known concepts
  • Provides practice problems with challenging problems for differentiation
