After listening to the story, Mouse Count by Ellen Stone Walsh, it's the young scholars' turn to figure out how their mice can be organized, with some inside a jar and some out. Using visual and tangible learning math learning strategies, learners come up with multiple answers. A paper jar template and ten mice cut-outs are available for each student or pair. Learners use words, pictures, or numbers to demonstrate their findings.
