For this activity, young scholars explore nine scatter plots to develop their understanding of how two quantitative variables are related. Through an exploration of the properties of this association, they come to understand the standard measure, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. All materials, including discussion questions and points, and the scatter plots with analysis, are provided.
