In this lesson young scholars will access and analyze sea ice data. By the end of the lesson students should be able to measure the seasonal variations in sea ice extent, discover long-term changes occurring in sea ice extent, visualize the relationship between sea surface temperature and sea ice extent and grasp the complex linkage between the sea-ice extent to the Arctic food web and human activities.
