- The five W's can sometimes feel a bit vague for learners; consider spending some time in which you review how to specify those questions (i.e. When did the event happen, and what was the historical context?, rather than simply When?) before beginning research
- As part of developing research skills, have pupils list where they found the information they are including in each section of the graphic organizer in proper citation form
Pros
- Simple, easy-to-understand format
- Multiple possibilities for use
Cons
- None
