Fourth graders reflect on the Revolutionary War.  In this Colonial America history lesson plan, 4th graders discuss various battles of the war, specifically the Battle of Cowpens.  Students begin by watching a video chronicling that battle.  Theythen study the memoir of one soldier and then--using detailed events from the war--create a journal entry imagining what it would have been like to be a soldier.
