Writing Fix: Taking the "Un" Out of "Unwritten"

For this lesson, learners will use a the rap song about prefixes, suffixes and roots and the song "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. Students will be engaged as they are practice their understanding of prefixes, suffixes and roots. Then learners will write paragraphs or free-verse poems where they will use prefixes, suffixes, and roots as they give advice about how to live their lives with their arms wide open, a line from the highlighted song.
