Based off of the hit television show NUMB3RS, this lesson is an extension on the classic Handshake Problem, in which one discovers how many handshakes have taken place among a group of people (assuming each person shakes everybody else's hand once and only once). In All Shook Up, there is a restriction that no one shakes hands with their partner. This leads to a different problem with which students may experiment.
