Based off of the hit television show NUMB3RS, this lesson is best used as an extension to linear programming in which the solutions to the proposed problem must be integers. The Branch and Bound method operates on the optimized point, but expands on it to find the nearest integer solutions. The lesson assumes students are already (very) familiar with linear programming.
