Based off of the hit television show NUMB3RS, this activity introduces students to the concept of Markov Chains, and shows students how to find the probability of something (dependent) happening in the future, given certain conditions now. This lesson makes much use of matrices and matrix multiplication, and it is assumed that students already have this prerequisite knowledge. Students will be exposed to matrices and their application in the fields of data analysis and probability.
