Based off of the hit television show NUMB3RS, this "simple" lesson will actually give students a lot to think about. Given a graph, students are to establish how many searchers are needed to find an infinitely fast criminal who is on the move throughout the graph. The lesson includes seven such graphs, ranging from complete graphs to wheels and from fans to simple circuits. While the premise is straight-forward, students will have to think carefully about their solutions.
