Texas Instruments: Numb3 Rs: Thumbs Up!

Based off of the hit television show NUMB3RS, this lesson introduces students to confidence intervals by using a simulation. Students use a calculator (or random number table) to simulate a situation with a certain success rate, and then work to determine the interval in which a certain number of successes would be expected. This lesson is somewhat intensive, but helps students get towards understanding confidence interval (without confidence interval actually being mentioned!)
