Instructional Ideas
- Provide specific probabilities and have class members construct either a spinner or dice to those probabilities
- Lead a discussion on the difference between experimental and theoretical probability and whether the two will ever be equal
Classroom Considerations
- The class should be familiar with probabilities that are uniform and not uniform
- This resource is only available on an unencrypted HTTP website. It should be fine for general use, but don’t use it to share any personally identifiable information
Pros
- You can change dice and spinners, which allows for different numbers of outcomes and whether they are uniform or not
- Includes links to lessons that relate to the activity
Cons
- None
